Room with West European Silver – Luxury Gifts from Ambassadors

The last room (number 5) on the second floor of Armory museum at Moscow kremlin exhibits the one of museum’s largest collections, the items made foreign craftsmen in the 13th to 19th centuries. Most of them came to Russia as ambassadorial gifts. The collection is extremely valuable because it illustrates the national characteristics of the decorative and applied arts of many countries and is one of the world’s largest collections of West European Silver.
