«Snow-Covered Church of Our Lady of Kazan Framed by Trees in Twilight»

View of the Church of Kazan Icon of Mother God in Kolomeskoye Estate framed by trees covered snow in a blue hour. The beautiful church with five elegant drums topped with onion-shaped cupolas is located in the former royal summer residence and considered to be one of the most spectacular churches outside the historical center of Moscow city. It was built in the middle of the 17th century and was connected by a passage with a wooden palace of Tsar Alexis (Aleksey Mikhailovich Romanov). In the present time, it is an active church, its exterior needs renovation.
