I spent two glorious months in Moscow this Fall and had it not been for Arthur my stay would not have been have as nice. He was professional, very knowledgable, friendly, a great, dependable driver and so pleasant to be with; I could not have wished for a better guide! I got to see much of the Moscow Oblast areas I wanted to see and with Arthur's guidance nothing was missed, he tied everything together expertly. Even the Moscow traffic was not so bad, Arthur new how to get the best of a bad traffic situation. His new jeep was warm and comfortable, his driving dependable, his knowledgable and friendly disposition a gift no doubt; and no matter how much you may have studied and think you know the place Arthur will surprise you. But most of all, he is a warm, genuine RUSSIAN. For most of us who are drawn to Russia, it is mainly a spiritual journey!

Johnny and I were in Russia for almost 2 weeks, and Arthur was with us almost everywhere we went. He is professional, cordial, joyous, knowledgable, competent, enthusiastic and an all-around pleasure to be around. I would reccommend Arthur as a driver and guide to anybody. His grasp of the English language is remarkable and he understands all the linguistic nuances and cultural cross-divides, ensuring that an Westerner's experience in Eastern Europe is smooth.

Arthur, thank you for your patience as well flexibility in getting us to all the Orthodox sites we could fit in. The trip to the church supply stores (especially Sofrino's) was exciting for us and, hopefully, fun for you. Now you can take other Orthodox tourists to these hot spots for vestments, icons, and other Russian Orthodox "souvenirs". The St. Sergius Lavra was outstanding, as well as Christ the Saviour Cathedral and all the other "domes" . . . we enjoyed our time with you and will enjoy our photos for years to come. All the best.

My week in Russia was a travel experience of a lifetime. Moscow is an incredible city with so much to offer and with Arthur as my guide my trip was effortless perfect. I cannot recommend him enough. Arthur met me at the airport and the adventures began! He is very knowledgable and keeps the trip personal; tailoring it to your needs as you go. One of the many great things about traveling with Arthur is that he is also a great photographer. I travel frequently and have many pictures of beautiful sights, but am never in my own trip photos. Now, I have several professional quality photos of myself on my Moscow adventure! Thank you Arthur for an incredible and stress free trip!

As you can read in the comments on either side of this testimonial, Arthur's many clients have been so satisfied and enthusiastic about his services that they seem to compete to articulate the best and most impressive recommendation of his services. We will not be an exception. Arthur was outstanding as a tour guide, driver, photographer, and translator. We saw the most important sites in Moscow and outside of Moscow. One of the highlights of our trip was Moscow by night which was an incredible introduction to this beautiful city. With Arthur’s help, we saw sites that are rarely available for viewing such as the Kremlin Palace. In addition, Arthur also showed us sites that are rarely visited such as the Gorky House, Tolstoi House, Chaliapin House and Scriabin House, which gave us an insight into how famous Russian writers, opera singers, and composers lived. All of these visits made our tour of Moscow richer and more insightful. Arthur seems to know every street in one of the largest cities in the world, and every shortcut to avoid the many traffic jams in Moscow. With his knowledge of Moscow and a genuine desire to satisfy his clients’ wishes, Arthur assured that we made the most of our time in this exciting city. As an avid photographer, he documented our entire visit to Moscow with photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. And finally, Arthur’s extensive knowledge of art, architecture, history, and religion enhances each tour. We strongly encourage anyone interested in an in-depth tour of Moscow to consider Arthur because he will exceed your expectations.

To my Guide Arthur
Throughout the last seven years I have spent a lot of time traveling to different parts of the world, exploring whenever and wherever I can in order to better appreciate the world around us. Several months ago I decided it was time to visit Russia and Moscow was one city that I have wanted to visit since I was in grade school, so the pressure to see and experience the Russian capital was on. After a series of random internet searches I found a guide that had good reviews and so I decided to send an email whereupon several days later Arthur Lookyanov replied with a detailed itinerary of sights to see and a very organized cost sheet that made everything concise and easy to understand. My tour to Moscow began in the early June, 2012 and was the last leg of a mini European tour that included Berlin, St. Petersburg, Chernobyl, Kiev and after a long delay navigating through customs I met Arthur at a Snack Time café area. Right from the start Arthur was on time, waited for my delayed entry and navigated the airport like it was his second home.
Throughout all of my three tours, Arthur was always on time, organized what we saw from beginning to end, allowed enough time to take as many pictures as one wanted with a break for lunch and made adjustments to the itinerary when it rained or crowds got in the way of our tour. When you sign for one of Arthur’s tours, you can rest assured he will not be sitting in his car texting while you navigate the Russian subway system because he will be there with you every step of the way regardless of weather, circumstance or Kremlin security. What is also a real bonus throughout his tours, it that Arthur brings along his very professional camera whereby taking pictures from his perspective therefore you get a second camera snapping shots to further enhance your Moscow experience. His energy to show the beauty of Moscow is immediately apparent because his knowledge about Russian history is overwhelming even for a professional historian and Arthur’s drive to make sure you get the best tour possible is without question what sets him apart from other tour operators. It is without reservation or doubt that when I return to Moscow Arthur Lookyanov will be my personal guide and photographer.

I visited Moscow with my parents in early April 2012 and we hired Arthur to show us around the city for about 2.5 days. We were all very pleased with his services as his English is excellent, he is reliable and he knows the city in and out. He not only knows all the major attractions that most first-time tourists want to visit, but also helped us customize the tour to some of our own interests - including guiding us to Jewish sites of interest, and also a fascinating site for exploring Russian military aviation history! On top of this, Arthur's photographs are professional quality - the photos he took of us at St. Basil Cathedral and of various viewpoints on our evening tour are particularly special. In fact they are the nicest photos I have from any trip in recent memory! Many thanks again from my parents and me!!
