Gilded Spire Topped with Star of Ukraine Pavilion at VDNKh
The top of Pavilion #58 "Agriculture" (until 1964 Pavilion "Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic") decorated with gilded spire and symbols of USSR, the five-edge star and sickle with hammer. The beautiful pavilion was built in 1939 on the grounds of the recently founded Agricultural Exhibition of Soviet Union and reconstructed in 1947-1954 under the design of architects A. Tatsiy and K. Ivanchenko. It is a historic and cultural monument of national significance that represents Ukraine as one of the republics of former Soviet Union (USSR) restored in 2017-2018.
Photo #050 taken on June 28, 2018 during the tour of VDNKh exhibition with my dear clients from Australia, Bruce and James Cockman.
