«On the Ice of the Frozen Lake Pleshcheyevo»

My Dear clients and photographers from Mexico, Xavier and Antonio, on the frozen Pleshcheyevo lake in the background of the beautiful 18th-century stone church of the Forty Martyrs in Pereslavl-Zallesky, the city of the Golden Ring of Russia, in winter season. The church was constructed in the place where small river Trubezh flows in the huge lake on the money of Moscow merchants Ivan and Maxim Schelyagins in 1755 on the site of two dilapidated wooden churches. The lake Pleshcheyevo is formerly a resort for Russian tsars. Here, at the end of 17th century, Peter I (the Great) built his funny flotilla that became prototype for Russian fleet on Baltics.
