Monument-obelisk "To the Lost Countrymen" in Uspenskoye

The monument "To the Lost Compatriots" in village Uspenskoe, about 40 km West from center of Moscow, Moscow Region. It is the Great Patriotic War Memorial in honor of those who defended Motherland in the Battle of Moscow, the capital of Soviet Union, that took place between October 1941 and January 1942. The obelisk "To the Lost Countrymen" was established in 1982, the author of the monument is unknown.
