Bottom view of the highlighted bronze sculpture of Soldier-Victor under the dome of the Glory hall decorated with the gorgeous Order of Victory and framed by bay leaf garland symbolizing the triumph of the Great Victory. The 10-meter sculpture “Soldier of Victory” in the Glory hall of the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 on Poklonnaya Hill was created in 1995 by design of the talented Soviet-Ukrainian sculptor Valentin Ivanovich Znoba. The Order of Victory was the highest military decoration awarded for World War II service in the Soviet Union, and one of the rarest orders in the world.
