Assumption Cathedral

Cathedral of the Assumption (Dormition) of Our Lady in the old area of Zvenigorod (Gorodok) is the oldest and most ancient witness of the past events in Muscovite Rus (In present Moscow Region). The fully preserved example of 14th-century Muscovite architecture, the Assumption Cathedral was constructed in 1399.
