Hall of Kievskaya-Ring Station with Mosaic Panels
The station was designed by a team of architects and artists from Ukraine to commemorate the tercentenary of the Ukraine joining with Russia. The station's decor reflects the history of Ukraine and Russia from Pereyaslavl Rada to the revolution 1917 and the new country's peaceful life. It was opened in March 14, 1954 under supervision of the First Secretary of the Communist Party, Nikita Sergeyevich Khrushchev who finally got the opportunity to build a station worthy of his native Ukraine.
