Peterhof's Grand Palace Church with Gilded Cupolas. Angle View
Angle view on the majestic Peterhof's Grand Palace Church dedicated to saints Peter and Paul. It was built in 1747-1751 by prominent Italian architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. The palace cathedral was a popular place for weddings and baptisms of members of the Russian Imperial family. All the children of Nicholas II, with the exception of the eldest daughter, Grand Duchess Olga, were born at Peterhof and were baptized here.
