«Tsar Cannon after Snowfall in Spring – Backside View»

Backside view of the world’s biggest Tsar Cannon after snowfall at the beginning of spring. Senate building with waving Russian flag on its dome is in the background of the picture. It is the official residence of President of Russia in Moscow Kremlin. The 40-ton barrel of the cannon was cast of high-quality bronze in 1586 at Moscow’s Cannon Court by Andrei Chokhov, but the 35-ton carriage with four 1-ton balls was cast in several centuries later, in 1835, in St. Petersburg.

Photo #113 taken on March 15, 2020 during Moscow Kremlin tour with my Dear clients from Australia, Jeff and Helen Wiltshire.
