At Entrance into Museum of Wooden Architecture at Winter Twilight
The entrance into the Museum of Wooden Architecture And Peasants' Life at winter twilight. The museum was established in Suzdal in 1960s and spread out on the right, high bank of the Kamenka River. At the right from the entrance is rising to the darken skies an elegant wooden church of Transfiguration that was built in 1756 in Kozlyatyevo village. Then in 1967-1968 it was moved to its new location in Suzdal. Few years ago the roof with onion dome and cross of the church had to be restored, since it was destroyed by the fire after it was struck by the lighting in July 21, 2011.
