«Wooden Church Framed by Trees Under Gray Clouds»

Old wooden church of St. Nicholas on the grounds of Suzdal’s Kremlin framed by trees under gray clouds before rain in spring season. The wooden church was built in the village Grotovo in Yuriyev-Polsky District in 1766. In 1960, when a special place had not been allotted for the Museum of Wooden Architecture and Peasant Life yet, it was moved and assembled right nearby the main cathedral of Suzdal Kremlin.

Photo #129 taken on May 22, 2019 in Suzdal during long-distance countryside tour to the cities of Golden Ring of Russia with my Dear clients from Austria, Herbert and Maria Petschar.
