On the First Moscow Cable Car Line at Luzhniki
View from a cabin on the line with cable cars over the river Moskva (Moscow) and Luzhniki stadium. The first Moscow Vorobyovy Gory-Luzhniki cable car was opened in November 2018.
Luzhniki is the largest stadium in Russia. It was opened in 1956. The country’s main sports arena hosted dozens historic competitions, a whole generation of athletes grew up and set up world records here. The stadium went through the largest reconstruction in its history to match it FIFA standards for the world football games in 2018 in Russia. Its historical look has been preserved. Today “Luzhniki” is one of the best football stadiums in the world.
