Gilded Wooden Choir Carved In The Baroque Style
The crafted wooden platform for the choir gallery is placed in front of an altar on a west side of the Church of the Sign in Dubrovitsy. The church was built in the 1690s by Italian craftsmen. The beautiful two-tiered choir of the church was richly decorated with gilded grape leaves carved in typical for that time Baroque style. Its vaults were elaborately decorated with statues of saints, apostles, and angels that perfectly survived till present days.
