Top of Pavilion of Ukraine Framed by Trees

The top of a grey-gold pavilion of Ukraine is surmounted with a corona from sheaves of wheat, spire and shining five-edge star with hammer and sickle, the symbol of Soviet Union. Everything here reminds about agriculture. The pavilion was built on the grounds of All-Union Agriculture Exhibition Center VSHV (original name of VDNKh) in 1939 and reconstructed in1947-1954 under the design by architects A.
