First Snow

First Snow
«First Snow»
No matter how old we get, we’re always fascinated by the first flowers in the spring, first berries, first thunder and first snow… All of a sudden every branch, every leaf, every inch of Moscow streets is covered with snow, as if the city has fallen asleep and having quiet winter dreams, frost-bound. Christmas tree on Tverskaya Zastava has dressed up as well and parades the new snowy coat and shining golden Christmas balls. Just a little touch on its branch and it’s like you have a new fur hat of fallen snow. The branch wobbles a bit and then stands still again, sinking to sleep. Photo #031 taken on November 29, 2012 during heavy snowfall, which paralyzed Moscow for a few days.
