First Snow
No matter how old we get, we’re always fascinated by the first flowers in the spring, first berries, first thunder and first snow…
All of a sudden every branch, every leaf, every inch of Moscow streets is covered with snow, as if the city has fallen asleep and having quiet winter dreams, frost-bound. Christmas tree on Tverskaya Zastava has dressed up as well and parades the new snowy coat and shining golden Christmas balls. Just a little touch on its branch and it’s like you have a new fur hat of fallen snow. The branch wobbles a bit and then stands still again, sinking to sleep.
Photo #031 taken on November 29, 2012 during heavy snowfall, which paralyzed Moscow for a few days.
