Illuminated Domes of the Resurrection Cathedral in Twilight
«Illuminated Domes of the Resurrection Cathedral in Twilight»

Shining gold domes (cupolas) of the Resurrection Cathedral, the Main Church of the Russian Armed Forces in Kubinka, illuminated in the twilight on the last day of summer. The beautiful cupolas are made from high-alloy steel consisting of individually manufactured metal parts (profile thickness 10 mm). The plates of stainless steel covered with one-sided titanium nitride sputtering of golden hue.

The central huge 34-ton dome raising at the height of a 20-story building (75 meters high). Its diameter of the octahedral drum on which the central dome is installed is 1945 cm (19.45 m) - the year of the Great Victory of the USSR over Nazi Germany. And this is symbolic because the temple was constructed in May 2020 in honor of the 75th anniversary of the victory.
