Panorama of Lavra from Bottom of Blinnaya Hill under Snow
Overview from the bottom of Blinnaya hill of the snow-covered magnificent architectural ensemble of Holy Trinity – St. Sergius Lavra with a small Chapel of the Pyatnitsky Well in front of the monastery in Sergiyev Posad during a snowfall in a winter season. The famous top-ranked monastery (Lavra is Greek name) is the most important center of Russian Orthodoxy very often called the Russian Vatican.
Photo #006 taken on December 25, 2017 during countryside tour to Sergiev Posad with my dear client from India, Arvind Sony.
