2018 Victory Park

Moscow International Festival "Circle of Light" took place in Victory Park on Poklonnaya Hill first time in 2018. The Victory Museum facade served as a screen for films about outstanding Soviet military engineers – Alexander Yakovlev, Semyon Lavochkin, Pavel Sukhoi, Sergei Shukalov and Mikhail Koshkin. Thanks to their hard work and design talent, the Red Army secured victory in the Great Patriotic War. Laser technology will be used to project images of aeroplanes, aircraft engine drawings, tanks and various military ships and submarines, anchor chains and maritime weapons,” said Nikolai Gulyayev, Head of the Moscow Department of Sport and Tourism.

The second part of the video mapping show on the Victory Museum walls was dedicated to the wildlife of modern Russia. The media screens will display breathtaking images of the Ural Mountains, Crimean scenery, the unique landscapes of Siberia and the Far East, and the vast expanses of water of the Yenisei and Lena rivers.
