Blue Dome with Gold Stripe of Holy Spirit Church (Sergiyev Posad)

The elegant single-dome Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles was erected by master-builders from Pskov on the grounds of the Holy Trinity monastery in Sergiyev Posad in 1476. Its beautiful onion-shaped dome painted in blue color and has wide gilded stripe and stars on it. The dome is topped with an elaborated gilded orthodox cross as well.
