Interior view with candle stand of the Southern narthex of the Nativity of Virgin Mary Cathedral. The Southern narthex with side altar dedicated to St. Sabba (Savva) of Storozh was attached to the cathedral in the middle of the 16th century, but reconstructed with the present arched vaults in the 1650s, in the reign of Tsar Alexis (Aleksey Mikhailovich).
