«Gilded Spire Topped with Star of Ukraine Pavilion at VDNKh»

The top of Pavilion #58 "Agriculture" (until 1964 Pavilion "Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic") decorated with gilded spire and symbols of USSR, the five-edge star and sickle with hammer. The beautiful pavilion was built in 1939 on the grounds of the recently founded Agricultural Exhibition of Soviet Union and reconstructed in 1947-1954 under the design of architects A.
