«Giant Water Wheel at Pazha River»

View from the observation deck near the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in the village of Radonezh on the beautiful landscape of one of the most ancient settlements of the Sergiev Posad district (Moscow Region), the small river Pazha and a huge wooden water wheel.

Not far from the wooden water wheel, under the hill, there is the holy spring of Sergius of Radonezh and there are two fonts, male and female, where pilgrims can take holy water and plunge into the cold spring water in the Glory of God.

Photo #129 taken on August 22, 2019 during countryside tour to Sergiyev Posad with my Dear clients from USA, Brian, Fabiola, Jo Ann, and Michael.
