View from Komsomolskaya (former Kalanchevskaya) square on the facade of magnificent Yaroslavsky Railway Station on a cloudy winter day. It was constructed in 1902–1904 by project of talented Russian architect Fyodor Shechtel in Neo-Russian Revival style. With its high roof, towers, and windows, it reminds attractive old Russian terem (house).
On Komsomolskaya square are located three railway stations (informally called “Three Station Square”), metro station, buses and trolleybuses, and trams, so in this huge transportation hub it is not possible to avoid wires and traffic on the picture.
