The old 16th century Church of Conception of St. Anna behind trees covered snow on the grounds of Zaryadye Park (near Red Square and Moscow Kremlin). It is one of the oldest parish churches in Zaryadye district. The record snowfall covered Moscow city with a thick layer of snow that day.

Main Entrance Arch

Arch of the Main Entrance was built for the opening of the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition in 1954 according to the project of the architect Innokenty Melchakov. The arch in the spirit of imperial architecture of Ancient Rome - a sign of glory of the Soviet people, the winner of the Great Patriotic War - emphasizes the status of a triumphant state and the corresponding new scale of VSHV-54.
