Illuminated Human Figures over Tsaritsyno Bridge
Illuminated human figures designed by talented French artist Cedric Le Borgne looks like flying ghosts over the Figure Bridge in Tsaritsyno Park and Museum Preserve during the one of the most prominent festivals in Moscow, the Circle of Light. Blue and green spotlights over the gothic style bridge with combination of these unique light sculptures made with the glowing wire created really mystic atmosphere to this site catching the viewers’ fancy.
The gothic-style Figure Bridge leading to the Tsaritsyno Palace was completed in 1778 by prominent Russian architect Matvei Kazakov. The bridge has an original brick and white-stone work that forms interesting geometrical reliefs. The high parapet of the bridge unites the semi-circular towers, thus creating a remarkable view.
