Meeting of Old Friends at Vorobyevy - GAZ-M-21 Volga Cars
Three old Volga cars that was developed in 1950s in Soviet Union, parked near observation point at Vorobyevy Gory (Sparrow Hills), popular meeting place for Moscow bikers and street-racers. The first generation of GAZ-M-21 Volga is easily identified by its characteristic chromed bar fascia with a central badge containing the five pointed star. Serial production began in 1957 and finished in 1970. At that time Volga were remained as a dream car for the Soviet public. The car's external design was made by automobile engineer Lev Yeremeev and though influenced by North American vehicles of the same period.
