Beautiful winter scene of the grounds of Novodevichy convent with majestic five-domed Smolensky Cathedral (1525). It is the oldest and main church within might Kremlinesque walls of Novodevichy convent that founded on a bank of Moskva-Reka (Moscow-River) by Grand Duke of Moscow Basil Third (Vasiliy III) at the beginning of 16th century. The magnificent and peaceful cloister attracts citizens and visitors of Moscow city at any season and any weather.
