The Blessed Victory - Obelisk on Poklonnaya Hill under Moonlight

During Moscow by Night tour with Farooq and Hamid, my first clients from Pakistan, I was so excited seeing such perfect clouds and full moon, so I even could not stop taking pictures. The beautiful night skies gave me excellent mood and double energy that helped me to provide this tour on high level with youthful ardour supplying of interesting historical information about each site we visited. The impressive obelisk is a classical three-edged stele constructed in 1995 with 141.8 meters (472.6 feet) of height symbolizing 1418 days and nights of the Great Patriotic War. On the top of this monument is placed Nike, flying winged bronze figure of the Goddess of Victory with two angels from left and right sides.
