The train, people, beautiful columns and chandelies can be common image of everyday life of the famous subway system of Moscow Metro with magnificent palaces underground. The Station Prospect Mira (Avenue of Peace) was opened in 1952 and reflects its first name - Botanical Gardens (till 1966) with impressive foliate ornaments on its columns.

The campus of MGU was built on Sparrow Hills by order and under supervision of Josef Stalin after Great Patriotic War (WWII). It is one the biggest and the most impressive of Seven Stalin skyscrapers (Seven Sisters).
