Festive Varvarka Street on the First Day of 2021
Beautiful New Year and Christmas decorations at Varvarka street on the first evening of 2021. Varvarka is one of the most famous old streets in Moscow near the Kremlin and Red Square. The street is named after the Church of St. Varvara (Barbara) the Great Martyr.
Notable buildings in the photo: on the left - the Old Sovereign Court, the Romanov Chambers (XVI-XVII centuries), the Church of Maxim the Blessed (1698-1699); on the right - Gostiny Dvor (Eng: Guest Yard) (1789-1805), and the top of the famous St. Basil's Cathedral.
