«Ensemble of the Resurrection Convent in Early Spring»

View of the architectural ensemble of the Resurrection Convent in Murom on a beautiful sunny day during an early spring thaw. On the left is the Vvedenskaya Church (in honor of the Entry of the Blessed Virgin Mary), and on the right is the Resurrection Cathedral with onion domes built in the middle of the 17th century. The foundation date of the Resurrection Monastery is approximately the 13th century, but it existed only until 1764. After its abolition, which was associated with the decree of Catherine II on the secularization of church lands, the Resurrection and Vvedenskaya churches became parish.
