Honor Guard Marching with Kremlin Step on Cathedral Square
«Honor Guard Marching with Kremlin Step on Cathedral Square»

An honor guard carrying flags of the Russian Federation and the Kremlin Regiment marches performing the impressive "Kremlin Step” crossing Cathedral Square at the beginning the ceremonial changing of the foot and cavalry guards of the Presidential Regiment in Moscow Kremlin at Saturday noon. Americans often call this impressive 90-degree step as "goose step". The Kremlin Regiment uniforms are similar to the uniforms of the Imperial Guard regiments from the time of Tsar Nicholas II. In the background can be seen beautiful golden onion domes of churches of the ancient Terem Palace and the Church of the Deposition of the Robe of Moscow Kremlin.

Photo #015 taken on July 16, 2016 during tour of Moscow Kremlin with my dear clients from USA, Andrew and Karen Green.
