Statue of Tractor Driver and Kolhoz Woman Framed by Trees

The sculpture group of tractor driver with a gear wheel and collective farmer with a book standing at wheat sheaf framed with trees on blue sky background in springtime. It is one of two same statues by sculptors P.I. Bondarenko and P.V. Kening that decorates left and right sides of the pavilion of Atomic Energy #71 (former RSFSR) at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of Peoples Economy (VDNKh). The building was constructed in 1954 facing the Square of Friendship of People.

RSFSR is the abbreviation of The Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic.
