The old lamp hangs between the Chapels of the Intercession of the Virgin and Saints Cyprian and Justina. It is a part of the interior decor of the indoor gallery in St. Basil’s Cathedral. In 17th century the interior of the wraparound gallery that connects all the chapels of the cathedral was decorated with murals embellished by floral ornaments, which were restored quite recently, especially we if we compare them to the original paintings.

Festive flags and flowerbeds at Rostovskaya Embankment
