Twilight Shine Upon Majestic Cathedral of Christ the Savior

Impressive night shot of Cathedral of Christ the Savior from stairs of pedestrian Patriarchy Bridge when it was getting dark. The original cathedral was destroyed by order of Stalin in 1931 as a symbol of religion, but it was rebuilt anew from 1995 till 2000 and 19th century style Patriarchy Bridge was added in 2004 to complete architectural ensemble around the building of the church. The design of Patriarchy Bridge was created by Russian Academy of Arts leaded by Zurab Tseritelli and gained special awards.
