Top of Amazing Mercury City Tower
Nightscape of Moscow with view of Mercury City Tower as seen from one of the skyscrapers of the Moscow International Business Centre. The observation deck is located on the 58th floor of Empire Tower at the height of 238 meters (780 ft), from where the vast urban spaces of the huge megalopolis can be seen. In the photo is the top of Mercury City Tower, with shining bright lights and reflections from its sheath made of gold-bronze mirrored glass. This $1 billion modern 339-meter (1112 ft) skyscraper was designed by the late American architect Frank Williams in collaboration with Moscow's Mikhail Posokhin. The dazzling tower has been described as a tapering mountain of trapezoidal blocks. Upon its completion in November 2012, Mercury City Tower overtook The Shard in London to become the tallest building in Europe.
