«State Historical Museum in Twilight»

People walk on the Red Square paved with cobblestone at winter twilight with the magnificent building of State Historical Museum in the background. It was built in 1875-1881 by Russian architect Vasiliy Shervud and engineer Alexander Semenov in the pseudo-Russian style of architecture. There is now snow in few days before New 2014 year.

The building of the Museum houses about 4,5 million exhibits and more than 15 million pages of documents dedicated to the history of Russian State. About 22 thousand exhibits are on display.
