Mausoleum is a memorial burial-vault where a crystal sarcophagus with the body of Vladimir Lenin lies in the Hall of Mourning. It was built in 1930 to the plans of architect Alexey Schusev and substituted the temporary wooden mausoleum erected in January 1924.

Complex of Churches of Peter and Paul Parish

The architectural ensemble of a winter church of Nicholas and a summer church of Saints Peter and Paul is located on a small hill outside the Pokrovsky Convent (Intercession convent) at the low bank of river Kamenka. The prettier of the two churches is Ss Peter and Paul's Church - the summer church - which was built in 1694 and is a standard cube building with five tall domes.
