Moscow Senate Building Framed by Trees
«Moscow Senate Building Framed by Trees»

View from Taynitsky Garden of Moscow Kremlin on the Senate building framed by trees. The luxurious building for the Senators was constructed in the Kremlin by a project of prominent Russian architect Matvei Kazakov in 1776-1787. The main seat of the Senate was in St. Petersburg at that time, but Catherine the Great decided to move two Senate departments to Moscow. In the present time, it is the principal residence of President of Russia.

Photo #060 taken on June 05, 2019 during the tour of Moscow Kremlin with my Dear clients from India, Piyali and Nandini.
