Tiled Stove in Antechamber of Terem Palace
Beautiful colorful tiled stove and windows in the antechamber (entrance-room) in Terem Palace, the residence of Russian Tsars. Originally installed 17th-century stoves did not survive after the fire of 1812 (Napoleon invasion), but according to their analogs, the founding author of the restoration project of the Terem Palace, F. G. Solntsev, in 1835-1837 new tiled stoves were installed.
