Narcissus Bouquet

Narcissus Bouquet
«Narcissus Bouquet»

Features: Gold, silver, brilliants, enamel
Origin: Second half of 18th century; maker unknown

Striking Narcissus Bouquet of three flowers on springs belongs to the period when diamonds were gradually becoming prevalent in the jeweller's art. Used for the bodice of women’s dresses it is one of the most interesting jewelry of this kind. The flowers are made of colourless transparent brilliants and the raised coronas of brilliants with a golden tint. The gold stems are covered with deep-green enamel. The flowers are attached to the stems with such fine springs that the slightest movement makes them quiver.
