Teahouse at the Skete in Winter Twilight
Covered snow illuminated with spotlights wooden teahouse at the skete of St. Savva (St. Sabbas) in Zvenigorod in the winter twilight. The house is located about seven hundred meters down a high hill from the Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery, right near the holy spring with a font and the skit (hermitage) of the disciple of St. Sergius of Radonezh. A Skete is a monastic community in Eastern Christianity that allows relative isolation for monks, but also allows for communal services and the safety of shared resources and protection.
