Museum of Wooden Architecture
The architectural-ethnographic Museum of Wooden is located on the bank of the river Istra, adjacent to the picturesque Gethsemane garden nearby the Resurrection Monastery (New Jerusalem Monastery). It was created in the 1980s and presents to visitors the samples of wooden architecture collected in different corners of the Moscow region. One of the most interesting exhibits is the manor house of the Kokoriny family built at the beginning of the 19th century.
