«Magnificent Interior of Church of St. Constantine and St. Helena»

The interior of the not big 17th century church of St. Constantine and St. Helena in the New Jerusalem Resurrection monastery in Istra is decorated with rich stucco work, small panikadilo (church chandelier) on a long chain and unique copper iconostasis consisted of 24 icons. In the church that buried in the ground in imitation of its prototype in Palestine is also located a sacred spring.

Photo #029 taken on April 07, 2010 during Moscow countryside tour the "New Jerusalem" Resurrection monastery in Istra with my Dear clients from USA, Stuart & Virginia Mazarelli.
