The Romanov’s Obelisk in Winter. The Angle View
The angle view of the Romanov's Obelisk in honor of 300th anniversary of the dynasty of Russian tsars in the winter season. The high monument was unveiled in Alexander Garden on July 10, 1914, a year after the tercentenary of the Romanov dynasty was celebrated. After the Soviet revolution, all tsarist symbols were removed and added a list of 19 socialist and communist philosophers and political leaders, instead of names of Romanov dynasty. In 2013 during the celebrations of the 400th anniversary of the Romanov reign, the column was restored to its original look.
