«Metro Turnstiles in the Northern Entrance of Krasnye Vorota»

Modern metro turnstiles in the northern entrance of Krasnye Vorota (Red Gate) station. Designed by architect Alexey Dushkin, the entrance vestibule was built into the ground floor of the Red Gate high-rise building (one of seven Stalinist skyscrapers) and opened on 31 July 1954. Its architecture carries a resemblance to the more flamboyant Stalinist style.
