Street Lamps and Buildings of Old Arbat
For decades the Old Arbat has been one of Moscow's most famous streets. These days, people overlook its architecture and cherish this street simply because it is very pedestrian-friendly. Besides, over the years its architecture was modernized quite a bit. This one kilometer-long street is finely decorated using 19th century style lamp posts. Walking down this street, you'll see attractive old apartments painted in different colors and office buildings mixed together with a multitude of bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. On background is rising top of impressive high-rise tower of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the one of seven Staling skyscrapers built in middle of 20th century.
