Panorama of New Financial District of Moscow City from Fili

Moscow cityscape with the view on the new International Business Center called "Moscow-City" from the bell tower of the Intercession Church at Fili. The new high-rise buildings were built in 1995-2014 and construction continues to this day. In May 2014, mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, ordered to speed up the construction of the financial district to ensure that it is finished before the opening of 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. However, experts say that the majority of facilities of the new skyscrapers will be up and running no earlier than by the year 2030. There are fifteen towers left to finish in total. Most of them them are going to operational this year. The new financial district located on Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment is going to become the biggest business, culture and architectural center of Moscow city, having worldwide significance and concentrating in itself huge streams of funds and data.
